Gene Thompson

For a few weeks now I have had very positive feelings about 2014. I just noticed that when you add together the numbers of 2014 you end up with 7. Seven is my favorite number.

I’d like to share my vision for this year, and for humanity for the future.

I feel that I have been preparing for years for this year. During the past month in particular I have affirmed more than ever my intention to make the shift to total self-responsibility for any pain or disappointment in my life, and stop wasting time and energy with blame and projection. Then I can redirect that energy toward creating the life I have always wanted deep down from my innate knowing.

I am not talking about a story book life. It is a life where we live consciously most of the time, instead of unconsciously 90% of the time. It is a life grounded in true reality where peace, love and self-empowerment are common everyday experiences. As we live this life we will be contributing to the critical mass that will in time take the world by storm, and create a new human family grounded in compassion and love.

Have wonderful and fulfilling 2014.

Janet and I were celebrating on New Years Eve with two other couples, and the question was asked, “What was the highlight of 2013 for you?” My answer was the two Making Love Retreats we facilitated during the year, saying that I feel honored that Diana Richardson has entrusted us with the opportunity to present this retreat in Australia, and I felt humbled during the retreats as I listened to the couples talk about how they were transforming their love-making and their relationships.

There were eight couples at the November retreat and here is some of the feedback from participants:

Man: So much of this retreat was simply amazing. If I had to pick a moment, it was how my body felt after making love for hours.

Woman: What has changed in our relating is that there is more softness between us, and a sincere yearning for more intimacy.

Man: I am much more in my body, where I obviously haven’t spent much time in the past.

Man: The most enjoyable moment for me was to see, for the first time in many years, my wife relax and enjoy making love.

Woman: I am feeling a deep sense of peace at knowing the liberation this way of lovemaking facilitates.

Woman: feel like I met my husband again for the first time. I feel safer and more willing to express who I really am.

Man: I believe this retreat will change the way I make love forever.

The next Making Love Retreat is March 23rd to 29th at Tree Houses, Montville, Sunshine Coast Hinterland. http://www.makingloveretreat.com.au.
